Immigrant blanco
A conceptual wine label series dedicated to outstanding cultural figures who experienced emigration and life between countries, identities, and languages. The collection features portraits of Nadezhda Teffi, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Alexander Vertinsky, Anna Pavlova, Ivan Bunin, and Vladimir Nabokov — artists and intellectuals whose biographies were deeply shaped by exile and migration.
Each label is executed in fast, expressive black ink drawing, capturing not photographic precision but emotional presence and character. The minimalist composition and handwritten typography emphasize fragility, memory, and the feeling of displacement shared by each figure.
On the reverse side of every bottle, a carefully selected quote by the portrayed author, composer, or artist creates a personal dialogue between the wine and the story of migration. Together, the series becomes not only a visual project, but also a reflection on cultural identity, nostalgia, reinvention, and the enduring influence of immigrants on world culture.
Et harum quidem rerum.
